Where are you going for holiday, are you going to the next holiday hot spot?

Other Family Vacation Options

So we thought now we could give you some information that could help you book your holiday for next year. This is now the time we get ready for those holidays for the family, bookings are going to start going up. The Recession appears to be slowing down, and now we seem to be getting some extra cash, now this year a chance of us buying a holiday has really gone up.

Although these holidays are not the most popular at the moment, soon they could very well become recognised as top contenders. Hurghada has always been a destination that has been popular with the tourist. These holidays are now becoming more targeted. People that would normally travel to somewhere like Sharm El Sheikh have discovered that they can go to Hurghada, and experience the same sort of thing in a different place. Diving is still big here and the hotels are of just as good quality. Hurghada offers camel rides, glass bottomed boats to venture out on and some of the most amazing coral reefs in the world.

The Indian Ocean has always been popular as well, however only up until recently has Sri Lanka been a good option. Sri Lanka was unlucky in that it was battled in Civil war for quite a long time, only recently have tourists been a little safer. Many people believe this place to be one of the most beautiful locations on earth, and the surroundings are truly stunning, it is like a safe haven from the outside world. Checking the spa hotels out is a must, this is what Sri Lanka is the best for, the accommodation and the people are friendly and top quality.

The Caribbean is the next location, but a country in particular. Cuba could quite possibly become the most popular holiday to go on in the Caribbean. Cuba is like one of those places stuck in the past, a great way for people to experience a completely different way of life, yet still be in complete luxury and heaven. Cuba is a very powerful island, and it’s reputation from western countries has probably earned it a high stature in the tourist world.

All you need to do is choose one of these holidays, Sri Lanka holidays, Cuba holidays or Hurghada holidays, what do you think?

Why do we bother to embark on vacations?

General Talk About Vacations

Many people find this question incredibly difficult to answer. Some people don’t even think about the answer, and it even takes them a while to say something. Many people will immediately just say something along the lines of, “Because I want to”! So there is in short, no real actual reason for anybody going on holiday if this is the case. Now everyone has a reason, they just don’t really want to tell us?

There were a few people who just hesitated, and mumbled i just want time off work. This is the best answer I got, and can understand what people mean by this. If you don’t enjoy your work, or if it doesn’t give you what you need, then get a new one, unless of course it pays well, in which case keep it!

However, we can just get away from our jobs whenever we want, and most of us do every weekend, so what’s the problem? Meeting new people and living with a completely different culture, this is a holiday that actually has meaning, although not many people gave this answer. This was the answer I was looking for, the one where people had actually set their mind to something and really thought about it. This is a much more sensible answer, you want to further your knowledge of the world.

Now the answer that really rubbed me up the wrong way was “Because there is nothing else to do”! These are the people that just need ignoring. How can you say there isn’t anything better, you what, excuse me that makes no sense! These people do hurt my brain a bit, and I had to sit down for a while after speaking to them.

But really, do we NEED a reason to go on holiday? Well in simple truth, NO you don’t, its up to you. Make sure that you don’t get told something different.
