The other day i came across this rather strange holiday. Most people go on holiday to enjoy the relaxation of the sun and sea. Now I am not sure about everyone else, but a lot of people i know, just want to go on holiday to relax, or go on an adventure. However there are some that embark on Celebrity holidays….

After reading up on some holiday offers I noticed something in the Google searches that caught my eye. There are some companies that actually advertise celebrity holidays. At first i didn’t really understand, were they holidays that were designed for celebrities? So I investigated further, only to find out that there were several different types of this holiday.

One of the options for this “celebrity holiday” was a simple here are where there is a high concentration of celebrities. There are even some hotels listed that are near these celebrities. This allows you to enjoy a nice holiday, but also have the chance to meet a celebrity, by accident. I would like to mention here that they don’t actually list where it is the celebrities live, just the general area.

A different type includes; going on a holiday to feel as though you are the celebrity. Basically if you want, you can go and stay somewhere that one or more celebrities have been before. This did appear to be a very expensive option.

The last one wasn’t a tour operator, but quite literally mentioned where the best places to find a celebrity were. I know it may be nice to stay somewhere your role model has, but is there a line you need to draw, before you start to get scary. Although they seemed to just suggest where they were, some of there directions seemed quite accurate.

I decided to look into all of these and find out where it is celebrities go on holiday, from what I could tell, the most popular destinations are St Lucia holidays, Barbados holidays and Egypt holidays.

Do you want to go on your Caribbean holidays with your children, or is it a place for you to get away?

When you think of the Caribbean during the day, you think of cool sandy white beaches where you can enjoy some silence. During the night on these holidays you think of a going out and enjoying yourself culture. Why would you want to take you’re children to this place then?

Barbados holidays were where you could go and party at night and chill out during the day. However there are also many family based events that provide you and your children with activities to do together. Activities like the Submarine adventures by Atlantis Submarines provide excitement for you and your family, your children will have a smashing time and there’s always the beach.

The question is do you want to take your children out there so you can have fun together, or do you go on your own to have fun. The children will be great to have with you, but you might want a romantic night alone. Will that work if you have a couple of screaming children with you?

Well now it can work, in Barbados you can also get a baby-sitter with your hotel.  With the baby-sitter being from the hotel you wont have to worry so much.Now that this is available to you, you can have a day out with your children, go to the beach and have fun, then enjoy yourself in the evening? You will probably only need one or two nights to yourself and the rest you can spend as the whole family.

So you can take your children with you even if you do want a bit of alone time. St Lucia holidays also provide activities for all to take part in. Having a holiday with the children isn’t just about them or you, it’s about you all having fun.

It’s not selfish to want to go and enjoy yourself on holiday. Thanks to all these resorts we can remain confident that anywhere that we take our children they will have an enjoyable time.
